This bundle consists of 7 short stories which take the reader to the Indian middle class life style and aspirations in a very poignant style.Since the author is Indian born, all these stories are written in Indian surroundings.
The main character Ravi in first story (I don't want to give away the details) fails to live up-to the expectations in his class. To overcome the short coming, he tries to cheat the system rather than able to face the situation Even though, the story is a light read, one cannot but empathize with the character as there are set expectations and the back lash if one doesn't live up to is nicely written.
The second story is hilarious. This is my favorite one as the author's narrative of the characters are very funny and one can relate to. The characters are well developed within the story and the ending is really good. I was not expecting this.
The characters development in these stories is truly amazing. All the stories are very good and money well spent!
